Synopsis for the 1st Story
Adapted from The Mask film.
Centuries in the past, Vikings left a locked chest in a shore and in the present, the place has become Edge City, where some divers open the chest down at the bottom of the sea, releasing the Mask.
At the city's bank, Stanley Ipkiss is invited to the Coco Bongo and then he meets Tina Carlyle. Elsewhere, Dorian Tyrell starts organizing a takeover of Edge City's criminal organization.
Later, Stanley goes to the mechanic, looking for his car, which is still broken. He is given a very damaged car, which he uses to go to the Coco Bongo. Unfortunately, he is denied the entrance and his failure is witnessed by Tina, who is sympathetic to him. On his way back home, Stanley spots what seems like a person in the river and he descends to help the person, only to find a Mask. Stanley returns home with the Mask, gets mugged before and the landlord Agnes Peenman scolds him as usual. His dog, Milo barks at the Mask and promts Stanley to put it on.
Stanley transforms into The Mask, scares the landlord, jumps out the window, destroys a car, strikes some thugs and attacks the mechanics that didn't repair his car. The next day, Stanley is awoken by Lt. Mitch Kellaway from the Police Department, who is investigating the events of the previous night. Back at work, Stanley meets reporter Peggy Brandt, who wants to know about about the previous night's incident as well.
