Hey, I’m with the Wikia Community Development team. I added a temporary header to your homepage because of comic-con. I would’ve asked permission in advance, but we’re doing like a million of these and we don’t have time to ask everyone. You are totally welcome to delete it if you hate it and want it to die! This is completely temporary and we just wanted to keep it up over the long weekend. Wikia is having a presence at comic-con this year, and we’re gonna be covering stuff related to this wiki. We are thinking that some of your users might be interested in this coverage, and we want them to know that it exists. It would be really cool if you could let us keep this up through the end of SDCC on Sunday.
It does and you'll be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is. All you have to do is add in a line that says "| NextIssue = - " and it won't populate the next issue. I already edited the page so you can take a look at it and use that as an example if need be. Let me know if you have any more questions. Queso6p7 04:41, April 3, 2015 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to the wiki! Would you like to make a page for the trade paperback titled "Epitaphs" or would you like to make individual pages for the comic series? Either way, I've created a page for the single issues here which also contains a yet to be created page for the trade paperback at the bottom. I'll link to that one here. I'll try to make it so you can just go and plug in the info.
You can edit the pages by clicking "edit", then going to "visual mode", hovering your mouse over the puzzle piece looking icon, and clicking on "edit" when it pops up in the bottom right hand corner. From there you can enter in the information pretty easily, but make sure to preview changes you make before publishing your edits/creations. For now, don't worry about adding pictures to the wiki for these as they should include source links and cover artist info. Queso6p7 04:44, December 2, 2013 (UTC)
Nah, I was actually just hoping to have them on the wiki, but I'll see what I can contribute to the content. Also, isn't the comic series actually entitled Epitaphs, or is is separate because it's considered the title of the compilation? Thanks
Creating the pages can be fairly complicated if they're to be made correctly so that's why I went ahead and made them. I apologize if that squelched some of your eagerness to help, but it involves using templates which can be confusing to navigate. I'm still not sure about the series name as one website I use says in the indica the series is simply called "Dollhouse," but all of the covers are called Dollhouse: Epitaphs. I'll contact dark horse about it as I'm still torn about it. I can rename them if need be.
Hey, man! Do you have any interest in the new "The Star Wars" series that Dark Horse has just released? The Star Wars Fanpedia community is looking for people to speak authorativly on the title, in an upcoming episode of our "The Star Wars" -- we record during a casual Google+ Hangout. Is that something you might be interested in?
You know, I did subscribe for it but have yet to read it. I probably won't get out to my lcs any time soon, unfortunately. If I do I'll definitely let you know. Thanks for letting me know! Queso6p7 04:11, September 7, 2013 (UTC)
Hello, I was wondering if you would consider an admin position here & on Image, I have seen the awesome work you have done on both wiki's & since I cannot spend as much time on the wiki's as I have in the past I could use the help. I am on wikia every night if you want to discuss it.
