Professional History
Dave Stewart is an artist who has worked as a colorist in the comics industry. He has been recognized for his work with the Eisner Award for Coloring in 2003, 2005, and 2007.
He has worked on primarily with "The Big Three" (DC, Marvel, & Dark Horse). His Marvel work has included Captain America (#1-9, 17-20), Daredevil (Vol. 2 #66-81), Ultimate Fantastic Four (#1-18), and Ultimate X-Men (various issues). His DC work has included the runs of DC: The New Frontier, Catwoman: When in Rome, Lex Luthor: Man of Steel, Batman and the Mad Monk, as well as various issues of Action Comics and Batman (655-657).
Within the Dark Horse house, Stewart has worked on Gerard Way's Umbrella Academy, Mike Mignola's Hellboy and B.P.R.D., various Conan issues, Michael Chabon's The Amazing Adventures of The Escapist, as well as numerous Star Wars expanded universe comics.
Most recently, he has been known for his work with Joss Whedon which includes Fray and Buffy:The Vampire Slayer Season Eight.
