Synopsis for the 1st Story
In 1947, one hundred automatons were directing their power reserves towards the God Machine during the experiment. Then, a scientist from the experiment heard a roar from above.
In the present, Matt Morrisette, the hero Rebel, was summoned to the Citadel by Grace. Later, they captured Warmaker and imprisoned him in the vault, as they received news coverage from Debby Belasco of KCGT Live. Meanwhile, the Seekers Arioc and Rimmon infiltrated the Citadel in order to use their computers to track down "the Heretic."
After locking the Warmaker in the Citadel vault, Matt left and flew to his brother Mark's house and transferred the powers and identity of Rebel to him. Mark flew to a courtyard, where he greeted his love interest Rhapsody. Rhapsody used her powers to heal a man's deformed face, as Ruby entered the courtyard, wearing a cloak. As Rhapsody was about to heal a man with crutches, an earthquake started, caused by Warmaker breaking out of the Citadel vault. Mark saw a hole in the wall of the vault outside of the Citadel before briefly fighting Warmaker and being injured. Ruby intervened, joining the fight and allowing Rhapsody to tend to Mark.
